Every January I get nervous about how slow it is. My wife likes to remind me it’s the same every year, and though I am on year five of self-employment, this lack of complacency pushes me to be better and do more—at least that’s what I tell myself. It can be a negative, too, because I find myself missing what’s right in front of me to think about what’s next. I’m working on it. This week, we have singer-songwriter Eddie Benjamin for Five Fits With. Eddie’s mentor is none other than Justin Bieber, who has called him “the future.” What I can tell you is I really enjoyed my time with this kid. He’s got a great head on his shoulders, and though his personal style is pretty out there, he’s got a fresh perspective on dressing and wearing his own clothes, which is refreshing for a pop star of his rising caliber.
